Frequently Asked Questions

  • Where do donations to Endo Excision for All go?

Your donations serve two crucial purposes. The majority of funds directly support individuals who cannot afford endometriosis excision surgery, covering or contributing to the cost of their medical procedures and related expenses. Additionally, a portion of donations is strategically invested in fundraising efforts. This investment allows us to amplify our impact by raising even more funds, ultimately helping a greater number of individuals access this vital surgery. By allocating resources to both direct assistance and fundraising, we aim to maximize our long-term ability to support those in need of endometriosis excision surgery.

  • How will the money raised be spent?

The majority of the money raised goes towards funding endometriosis excision surgeries for those in need. A smaller portion is used to cover operational and/or fundraising costs and raise awareness about endometriosis and the importance of excision surgery. It's important to note that no monies go towards staffing the nonprofit; our fundraising efforts are focused solely on expanding our reach and impact, not on paying salaries or administrative costs.

  • Who can apply for financial help for excision surgery?

Anyone previously diagnosed with endometriosis and/or adenomyosis, and/or suffering from debilitating endometriosis symptoms who is unable to afford excision surgery due to financial constraints can apply for assistance. Applicants must meet certain criteria and provide the required documentation to be considered.

  • What does Endo Excision for All do?

Endo Excision for All is a non-profit organization dedicated to helping individuals with endometriosis access excision surgery, the gold standard treatment for the disease. We raise funds to provide financial assistance to those who cannot afford this life-changing surgery. We also make efforts toward policy change, so an insurance code for excision can one day be established.

  • How do we measure impact, and how will we keep donors updated?

We measure our impact by the number of individuals we are able to assist with endometriosis excision surgery each year. We provide regular updates to our donors through social media and an annual report, which highlights the stories of those we've helped and the progress we've made towards our goals.

  • How can I volunteer for your cause?

  • Why should I give monthly?

Monthly donations provide a steady, reliable source of funding that allows us to plan ahead and help more individuals in need. By giving monthly, you become a vital part of our ongoing mission to make endometriosis excision surgery accessible to all.

  • What progress is your organization making toward its goals?

Each year, we aim to increase the number of individuals we can assist with endometriosis excision surgery. We also work to raise awareness about the condition and the importance of early diagnosis and proper treatment. Our annual report provides a detailed overview of our progress and the impact of our donors' support.

  • How does your organization compare to other organizations working on this cause?

While there are other organizations dedicated to endometriosis awareness and support, Endo Excision for All is unique in its focus on providing financial assistance specifically for excision surgery. We believe that this targeted approach allows us to make the greatest impact on the lives of those suffering from endometriosis as most patients can not access this out-of-network surgery. We also work to advocate for policy change, which includes fighting for an insurance code for excision surgery in the United States.

  • Is my donation tax-deductible?

Yes, Endo Excision for All is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. All donations are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. You will receive a receipt for your donation that you can use for tax purposes.

  • How can I stay updated on your organization's work?

You can stay informed about our work by frequently visiting our website, and following us on social media. We also encourage you to attend our events and fundraisers, where you can learn more about our mission and connect with others who are passionate about supporting those with endometriosis.
