Where do donations to Endo Excision for All go?
+
All donations go directly to surgery grants for individuals who cannot afford endometriosis excision surgery. This includes covering or contributing to the cost of surgical consults and full excision surgeries. No donated money goes to operating costs, advocacy efforts, or other programs. Unlike many nonprofits, all administrative expenses (legal, website, Zoom, advertising) are personally covered by the founder, ensuring that 100% of your donations go directly to surgery grants.
How will the money raised be spent?
+
100% of the money raised goes directly to surgery grants, funding excision surgeries and surgical consult coverage for those who cannot otherwise afford care. No donated funds are used for operating costs, advocacy initiatives, staffing, or administrative overhead. Those expenses are personally covered by the founder, so every dollar donated supports surgery grants.
Who can apply for financial help for excision surgery?
+
Anyone previously diagnosed with endometriosis and/or adenomyosis, and/or suffering from debilitating endometriosis symptoms who is unable to afford excision surgery due to financial constraints can apply for assistance. Applicants must meet certain criteria and provide the required documentation to be considered.
What does Endo Excision for All do?
+
Endo Excision for All is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to ensuring individuals with endometriosis can access excision surgery, the gold standard of care. We provide direct financial assistance for surgical consults and excision procedures, support patient fundraising, and contribute to community programs like menstrual product distribution. We also engage in advocacy, meeting with lawmakers and coalition partners to push for systemic change, including the establishment of an insurance code for excision surgery so that, one day, access will be equitable and affordable for all patients.
How do we measure impact, and how will we keep donors updated?
+
We measure our impact by the number of individuals we are able to assist with endometriosis excision surgery each year. We provide regular updates to our donors through social media and an annual report, which highlights the stories of those we've helped and the progress we've made towards our goals.
How can I volunteer for your cause?
+
There are many ways to volunteer with Endo Excision for All! You can help raise awareness about endometriosis and our organization, assist with fundraising efforts, or provide support to those seeking financial assistance. Please visit our "Get Involved" page or contact us directly for more information on volunteer opportunities.
Why should I give monthly?
+
Monthly donations provide a steady, reliable source of funding that allows us to plan ahead and help more individuals in need. By giving monthly, you become a vital part of our ongoing mission to make endometriosis excision surgery accessible to all.
What progress is your organization making toward its goals?
+
In our first year of operation, Endo Excision for All has already provided direct financial support for patient surgical consults and contributed to patient fundraising campaigns. Advocacy work, including meetings with lawmakers in Washington, D.C., is carried out through volunteer efforts and the founder's personal resources, not donated funds. We also expanded community support by helping provide menstrual products to those in need. Looking ahead, we have set the ambitious goal of funding a full excision surgery ($20,000) in the coming year, demonstrating our growing capacity to directly impact patients' lives while continuing to advocate for systemic insurance reform.
How does your organization compare to other organizations working on this cause?
+
While there are other organizations dedicated to endometriosis awareness and support, Endo Excision for All is unique in its focus on providing financial assistance specifically for excision surgery. We believe that this targeted approach allows us to make the greatest impact on the lives of those suffering from endometriosis as most patients cannot access this out-of-network surgery. We also work to advocate for policy change, which includes fighting for an insurance code for excision surgery in the United States.
Is my donation tax-deductible?
+
Yes, Endo Excision for All is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. All donations are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. You will receive a receipt for your donation that you can use for tax purposes.
How can I stay updated on your organization's work?
+
You can stay informed about our work by frequently visiting our website, and following us on social media. We also encourage you to attend our events and fundraisers, where you can learn more about our mission and connect with others who are passionate about supporting those with endometriosis.
