From Natalie:
My dear friends,
Ave! I'm having endometriosis surgery on February 17, 2026. My endometriosis is a part of a whole relationship of complications including reactive hypoglycemia (similar to insulin-resistant PCOS but not as recognized by doctors), significant iron deficiency, inflammation, neuropathy, high thyroid antibodies (beginning signs of a thyroid or autoimmune condition), a return of my childhood asthma, and sudden moments of extreme weakness, dizziness, and nausea. I've made a lot of changes to my diet, lifestyle, and medications as this has all unfolded over the past two years. Some things have improved, some things require constant maintenance, and some things are honestly still not great. I wasn't expecting surgery to happen so soon: my initial consultation was set for April 2026. One night in October, I was praying if I should even pursue surgery with the date being so far out, with being so used to the pain and related complications that "I bet I can handle it," with the progress I have made that "maybe this will be as good as it gets." The question was left there hanging, but two days later, the surgeon called me and said they had a cancellation and I could have my consultation the next day. Since then, the Spirit has been leading. February 17th is my great-grandmother's birthday; she died of uterine, cervical, and bladder cancer — and this is the part that the Lord is using to humble my pride of "I can handle this." My surgery is entirely self-pay because it is not the typical (albeit ineffective) endometriosis surgery. The estimate of $12,000 is for the surgery, anesthesia, hospital, recovery medications, and hotel in Dallas for two nights. My friends, please join me in praising the Lord and praying for His Providence. He provides so much and so well for His children, doesn't He? Prayer is what I really ask of you. Humbly and secondly, I ask you to consider assisting me in raising the funds for my surgery as you are able. Thank you so much for your support!
AMDG,
Natalie
